The Lake Garda with its mild climate and its perfect water temperature appears like a sea between the Alps and the lowlands of the PO level. The best known first corridors are polenta (corn or buckwheat porridge) with sauce and meat, cheese or mushrooms.

Famous dishes are barley soup, bean soup, mushroom soup and, above all, "Prò Brusà", a simple but tasty vegetable soup. 

Typical main dishes are rabbits with grappa, goulash, deer with polenta, trout and lucanica (pork sausage). King of local gastronomy is the apple from the nonstal, which is used to produce the well -known apple strudel, various cakes and fruitlers. 

Wine production with Merlot, Cabernet, Burgundy, Chardonney and delicious sparkling wines is also worth mentioning.
